As a founding member, and the head of category and growth, I spearheaded several projects and scaled functions from scratch eventually attaining a 20X GMV growth in 18 months, launching 3 private labels, and building a strong supply vertical bringing various direct manufacturers and regional brands into the system. Before Bizztm, I had an enriching journey building AADAR, a D2C (direct-to-consumer) Ayurveda health & wellness start-up with a vision to bring age-old Ayurveda to modern consumers in a more acceptable yet natural form to help them combat the various lifestyle issues. As a co-founder and COO, I spent most of the time in establishing and scaling e-commerce as a growth channel, managing end-to-end operations, data intelligence, customer success and new product research & development. Prior to my stint with startups, I have had almost 6 years of experience in investment banking and proprietary trading working with Barclays Investment Bank and Futures First. I led various projects on portfolio risk management and modelling, capital optimization, and credit risk, building a strong knack for risk management, data analytics and process improvement.
