I was the person sitting inside banking and insurance operations, watching talented teams spend their days copying data between systems, chasing approvals, manually reviewing documents, and doing work that software should have been doing years ago. I worked across TCS, Standard Chartered, and Marsh McLennan, and no matter which company I joined, the pattern never changed. Different industry. Different logo. The same manual processes. That's when I stopped asking, "How can we make this process 10% better?" and started asking, "Why does this process exist in its current form at all?" That question pulled me into product thinking, automation, and eventually AI. Today I build AI-first products and workflow automations that remove repetitive work instead of asking people to do it faster. I work with tools like Claude, GPT, n8n, and Make to redesign workflows rather than simply digitise them. Along the way I've been fortunate to: • Reclaim ~30 FTE of manual capacity at Standard Chartered by automating client communication and offer-letter workflows. • Improve processing efficiency by ~30% across five European markets at Marsh McLennan. • Reduce operational costs by ~30% at TCS by redesigning an end-to-end insurance purchase and KYC journey. • Build five AI products in six weeks during the AI-First Product Management program at Rethink Systems, including launching GalPal, an AI-built product that attracted 150+ beta users. Outside work, I'm constantly building. Some projects become products. Some become experiments. Some fail spectacularly. Every one of them teaches me something about users, product decisions, and how AI is changing the way software gets built.
