My current roles as Student Nutrition Team Lead - Community Development Specialist with Ontario Student Nutrition Programs and Dietetic Assistant at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton Health Sciences revolve around leadership, collaboration, and specialized nutritional care. In my role with the Ontario Student Nutrition Programs, I lead, supervise, and collaborate to support Student Nutrition Programs in schools across the Region of Peel, a program funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. My responsibilities include funding allocation, providing counsel, problem-solving, coaching, and leadership, all aimed at ensuring the safe operation, accountability, and facilitation of nutrition programs. At Juravinski Hospital, I provide nutritional care for patients with malignant hematological diseases, focusing on intensive chemotherapy, transfusion, antibiotic support, and stem cell transplantation. I conduct patient screening and assessments along with implementation and monitoring nutritional care plans. With over 6 years of experience as a nutritionist, I've channeled my expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to establish a highly successful online nutrition health and wellness venture, empowering clients worldwide with personalized dietary plans tailored to their unique needs. In addition to my entrepreneurial journey, I've gained invaluable experience as a Dedicated Dietary Supervisor at a Long-Term Care home. This role deepened my understanding of specialized dietary and holistic care needs for the elderly, emphasizing compassionate care and efficient long-term care management.
