I am a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of work experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Business Strategy, Consulting, Investor Relation, Fund Raising and FP&A. I have worked with some of the best startups and companies in India over the course of my career.
Currently, I am heading the M&A team at Evenflow Brands, an aggregator for E-commerce sellers.
Previously I have worked in the M&A team of Marico, taking care of both domestic as well as International acquisitions. I led a few marquee D2C M&A transactions for Marico including - Beardo (largest male grooming company in India) and Just Herbs (Ayurvedic cosmetic brand). I also worked on multiple other undisclosed deals and projects of strategic interest to Marico.
Prior to this role I also worked in the Chairman's office of Marico and consulted multiple startups across sectors and helped them scale up their business by driving increased revenues and profitability and unlocking operational efficiencies in the entire value chain
I have also had the opportunity in the past to work with one of India's leading startups Housing.com and I helped them define and scale their revenue strategy. While at Housing.com I was responsible for investor relations and raising funds, driving sales, P&L management, driving product profitability and preventing revenue leakages.
I have a specific interest in working on difficult problem statements and trying to resolve them to create substantial impact. I enjoy working in high stake situations and in cross functional teams.
Apart from work you will generally find me reading fiction books, playing board games or enjoying a game of football. I also run 2-3 half marathons every year.
