About me

My journey has never followed a conventional path. I was born and educated outside the elite institutions that often dominate conversations in technology. I am not from IIT, NIT, DCE, or any Tier-1 university. In fact, I came from a background where opportunities were limited, resources were scarce, and success was never guaranteed. What I did have was curiosity, determination, and a willingness to take on challenges that many would avoid. My career began far from where I stand today. Transitioning from a non-technical background into technology was not easy. Every step required learning, adapting, and proving myself repeatedly. What others often learned through structured paths, I had to discover through persistence, experimentation, and countless hours of self-study. In early 2020, I made one of the most significant decisions of my life. I moved from India to the Netherlands just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic transformed the world. Arriving in a new country, away from familiar surroundings, and then witnessing global uncertainty unfold was an experience that changed my perspective forever. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying calm during uncertainty. Over the last 14+ years, I have worked across FinTech, telecommunications, enterprise IT, and product organisations, building expertise in solution architecture, platform engineering, IT operations, CI/CD, build and release management, SRE, production support, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, logging, and observability. My focus has always been on building reliable, scalable, and cost-effective systems that create real business value. What excites me most today is the transformation happening through Artificial Intelligence. I have witnessed the evolution from heavily manual operations to intelligent automation. The shift from repetitive operational work to AI-assisted decision-making feels almost unreal at times. It often feels as if every time I wake up, I find myself in a completely new era of technology. The pace of change is unlike anything I have seen before. Technology is evolving faster than ever. Industries are being redefined. New opportunities emerge every day while old assumptions disappear overnight. In this environment, standing still is no longer an option. If you stop learning, even briefly, you risk falling behind. This mindset has shaped the three principles that guide my life: 1. Set goals higher than your current abilities and dedicate yourself fully to achieving them. 2. Invest in difficult problems that others hesitate to solve. Education and continuous learning are powerful because they develop critical thinking. Even failures become valuable because they teach lessons that success often cannot. 3. Keep moving. Challenge yourself every day. Growth begins where comfort ends. Recently, I found strong resonance with the message shared by Sundar Pichai during Stanford University's 2026 commencement address. Rather than focusing on technology itself, he encouraged graduates to work on hard things, pursue what genuinely excites them, and choose optimism even during uncertain times. Those ideas align closely with the principles that have guided my own journey. Success rarely comes from following the easiest path. It comes from embracing challenges, staying curious, and maintaining optimism when outcomes are unclear. Today, my interests are centred around agentic AI, AI-powered operations, platform engineering, SRE, observability, and cloud architecture. I am passionate about helping organisations use technology not only to scale systems but also to augment human capability. My story is not about having the perfect start. It is about continuously reinventing myself, embracing uncertainty, learning faster than yesterday, and proving that where you begin does not determine where you can go. The journey continues.
