Prakshi is a lawyer by academic training with deep understanding and work experience of public policy, having worked with Offices of Parliamentarians and Cabinet Minister. She is a feminist activist, SRHR advocate and nonprofit founder. She has around four years of experience in curriculum design related to MHM and SRHR, as well as leading grassroots community programs for 2000+ women and girls. She has worked with particularly marginalised and vulnerable communities like sex workers, refugees, giving her invaluable insights on the intersectional aspects of SRHR advocacy. She has also led policy advocacy campaigns engaging more than 100,000+ citizens and elected representatives. Most recently, her campaign on cervical cancer prevention and HPV vaccination was endorsed by 4 Parliamentarians from 4 political parties across India. Prakshi began her journey as a feminist writer with her own blog at 16, which garnered hundreds of readers across the world. At 20, she started and built her own nonprofit organisation. She is a Youth Ki Awaaz and She Creates Change fellow.
