Prakhyat Mathur, a current scholar at the Indian School of Public Policy, initially aspired to join the Indian Administrative Services, but pivoted to the field of public policy driven by his unfailing zeal to create tangible impact. Working closely with multiple stakeholders in the policy realm, such as local politicians, central minister, local body executives, central bureaucracy, MLAs, MPs, industries, think tanks, and NGOs, has cultivated a breadth of experience in him. Having worked as a Research and Communication Associate at the office of Dr. Fauzia Khan, Hon'ble Rajya Sabha Member, and later as a Policy Intern with Dr. Anil Agrawal, Hon'ble Rajya Sabha Member, instilled in him invaluable insights on legislation and policy advocacy at a Union level. During his time under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, he was involved in various roles like project management, operations, communication, and public policy. Additionally, he successfully led projects with Centre for Civil Society and Pratham on street vendors and ASER Urban survey, respectively. In his role as a Policy Catalyst to the MLA of Hubli Dharwad West, he closely collaborates with local stakeholders to address concerns of Mango farmers. As a part of the Delhi Dialogue and Development Commission team, he contributed to the Rozgar Mela project in Delhi. Being passionate about politics, he worked with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during MCD elections 2022, where as an assembly coordinator, he managed party communications and operations for 11 wards
