At City of Hope, under the leadership of Prof. Lili Wang, I focus on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), Richter's transformation (the aggressive transition of CLL to lymphoma), and metabolism as a Staff Research Scientist. During my tenure, we've excelled in employing cutting-edge techniques such as isotope tracing, unlabeled metabolomics, and transcriptome analysis to advance our understanding of this aggressive cancer. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Associate, I honed my expertise in genomics and developed murine models using CRISPR-Cas9 approaches along with single-cell RNA and DNA sequencing. These efforts have allowed us to dissect the complexities of cancer at a granular level. Working alongside fellows, residents, and students, we have fostered a collaborative environment that encourages growth and seeks to answer pivotal healthcare questions. My mission is to continue contributing significantly to the field of solid tumors and lymphoid tumors, striving to understand the mechanisms of aggressiveness in various cancers.
