I am currently working as a Senior Treasury Manager in Majid Al Futtaim, region's highest rated (BBB) private sector organization and one of the largest conglomerates in GCC with interests in Shopping Malls, Retail, Entertainment, Hospitality, Property Development & Management, etc. Prior to my current role, I was working in the Corporate Finance team at Emaar Properties where I worked along with the GCFO and business unit CFOs across all Emaar business entities - Development, Malls, Hospitality, Entertainment covering both Dubai and International operations, in aspects of Financial Planning, Investments/Divestments, Business Development & JVs and Digital Transformation. I also had a stint with the Chairman's office during my tenure at Emaar working across the portfolio of companies including Noon (E-Commerce), Aramex (Logistics), Americana (QSR & F&B), etc. I graduated Top 10 from IIM Ahmedabad with several scholarships and awards in 2017 specializing in Finance & Strategy. I have also successfully cleared the CFA, CAIA & FRM exams with distinction. During my MBA, I interned at the Equities Sales & Cross Asset Structuring desk at the Citi Global Markets APAC headquarters in Hong Kong and was the only intern to be awarded a PPO across all IIMs. A part of IIMA's esteemed Placement Committee, I was an active member of several clubs including Finance, Consulting & General Management. I won several national/regional level business case competitions and was part of the CFA Research Challenge representing IIMA. I was also a part of the Institute Squash team and won several college/national level quizzes and was in the Top 10 at the Tata Crucible regionals. I count being selected as the Youth Ambassador by the Government of India and representing IIMA at the CNN-IBN pre-budget show as some of my remarkable achievements during B-school. Prior to MBA, I worked as an Index Options Trader in Optiver, Europe’s biggest market maker hedge fund based out of their offices in Amsterdam where I traded dailies, weeklies and monthly index options on Eurostoxx, DAX and AEX, including index and calendar spreads. I completed my B.Tech from IIT Bombay where I graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering and Minors in Statistics. In IITB, I was elected the Institute Squash Secretary and was the Captain of my team during the Inter-IIT competitions. I like reading (mostly non-fiction), meeting new people (specially those with interesting stories to share), and exploring new places to travel and eat.
