Poorti Kathpalia is a trained neuroscientist, holding a PhD. She is a passionate science communicator who uses prose, verse, podcast, and videos to talk about recent scientific research. Her goal is to make science accessible for all which she makes possible through her blog/podcast Science Bagels. She owns a company Vigyan Vyanjan that provides science communication services to scientists and creates cool science themed merchandise for all age groups. She has been previously working as a Science Communicator at CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology - one of the premier research institutes of India where she managed the science outreach of the institute.
