With an experience of two decades, Poorna has been an integral part of Samunnati's journey since its inception. Currently as Group Head - Corporate Strategy, Poorna's role at Samunnati extends across several core areas of the business, encompassing corporate strategy, branding, ESG, Sustainability, transformative projects, and corporate functions within Samunnati. Poorna is responsible for steering strategic projects and key relationships centered around FPO Ecosystem primarily focusing on nurturing livelihood of small holder farmers, FPO Engagement, Gender and promoting Climate-smart initiatives. This involves a nuanced integration of these strategic principles into the business strategy, contributing significantly to Samunnati's overarching vision of making markets work for small holder farmers. In addition, Poorna is also on the board of Samunnati Foundation which primarily works around the theme of Gender Inclusion, Women Empowerment and promotion of Climate Smart Agricultural practices. Poorna is also a professional certified coach (ICF-PCC) & a senior certified HR professional (SHRM-SCP) and believes that she can make the world a better place through coaching conversations. Poorna has extensive experience in the start-up space is a trusted business partner for growth and has proven expertise in transforming organisational processes aligned with the growth of the organisation. She was working in the People, Branding & Communications space until recently.
