This course introduces students to the foundational approaches and techniques of qualitative research in the social sciences. It explores key methodological traditions such as ethnography, thematic analysis, coding, phenomenology and grounded theory, helping students understand how researchers interpret social meanings, lived experiences, and cultural contexts.
