Design Career Mentorship • Portfolio & Growth with atul khola

You can spend a lot of time getting better at design and still feel unsure about where you’re going.

Maybe your portfolio doesn’t do justice to your work. You know the decisions you made, but explaining them in an interview somehow becomes harder than making them. Or you’ve grown comfortable in your role and aren’t sure what the next level actually asks of you.

You might be moving into product design, taking on leadership, or wondering how AI changes the kind of designer you want to become.

Bring the part you’re stuck on.

I’ve been the designer making the work, the person reviewing it, and the leader building the team. We can look at your portfolio and case studies, work through a career decision, sharpen your product thinking, or figure out how to take an idea further through craft, prototyping and code.

We’ll choose the question that matters most right now and get specific about it. The aim is to leave with a clearer understanding of what needs work, what you can build on, and where to put your effort next.

Before we meet: Send me a short message about where you are, what you’re working towards, and what you’d most like help with. Share your portfolio or relevant work if you have it. That helps me come prepared and make the session count.
