Working predominately on data related tools and services, I have a breath of knowledge spanning across the data ecosystem having built out a data engineering team from scratch at Audax (previously Nexus at Standard Chartered Bank). This has given me experience in mentoring and training team members, implementing and designing a full end to end data architecture in a highly regulated environment, and using many open source technologies in production. Currently, I have been working on Data Catering (https://data.catering/) as a tool to help bridge the gap in data generation and testing that exists today. I used to be a mathematics tutor back in university and gained a lot of satisfaction from sharing knowledge and seeing people grow, so I wish to extend this to data engineering.
