The Google Roadmap 🚀

Getting into Google is rarely about one thing. It’s about building the right skills, positioning your profile well, understanding the hiring process, preparing intentionally, and knowing what to focus on at each stage.

I created The Google Roadmap based on my own journey and experience at Google — from building my career in Cloud and working on real-world technical problems to transitioning into Software Engineering.

This is the career playbook I wish I had when I was figuring out what actually matters.

Inside, I cover:

📌 Finding your path

How to identify the right Google role for your background and what skills each path requires.

📄 Resume & profile

How to think about your resume, write stronger impact-driven bullets, showcase your experience, and build a profile that represents you well.

💻 Technical preparation

A structured roadmap covering DSA, coding fundamentals, CS concepts and system design — without the overwhelm of trying to learn everything at once.

🤝 Networking & referrals

How to approach networking, referrals and recruiter conversations, with practical templates you can adapt.

🎯 Applications

How to build a targeted job search and track your applications instead of applying randomly.

🎤 Interview preparation

Frameworks for technical and behavioral interviews, including how to structure your answers, communicate your thinking and build your personal story bank.

📅 30 / 60 / 90-day roadmap

A practical preparation plan to help you turn a big career goal into smaller, manageable actions.

You'll also get:

• DSA preparation tracker

• Application tracker

• Weekly preparation scorecard

• Behavioral story bank

• Resume checklist

• Referral & recruiter templates

• Interview readiness checklist

• 30-day action planner

Most importantly, this isn't about blindly following someone else's career path.

It’s about understanding the framework behind building a strong career at Google and adapting it to your own background.

If Google is a career goal you're seriously considering, this is the roadmap I’d want you to have before you start.
