Inspired by Ayn Rand’s words—“A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others”—I have pursued my academic and professional journey with a commitment to achieve and to help others along the way. Growing up in a remote village in Nepal, where geographical, informational, and educational barriers often limit opportunities—not just for learning but for growth in many areas of life—I was determined to become the first engineer from my community. I’m passionate about guiding students in their academic and career journeys, sharing practical tips on scholarships and studying abroad, and sharing insights from my own experiences. My goal is to inspire and support others in unlocking opportunities and realizing their potential. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MSRIT, India, in 2018. In 2022, I completed the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Sustainable Transportation and Electrical Power Systems, studying across the University of Nottingham (UK), Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), University of Oviedo (Spain), and Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (Portugal). I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Electric Drives and Power Electronic Systems Institute, TU Graz, Austria. My current research focuses on the design, analysis, and prototyping of electric machines and drives, with an emphasis on improving energy efficiency.
