I'm a backend engineer with 14 years building resilient, distributed systems in Java and Spring Boot — currently as Senior Fullstack Developer at IBM (CIO), where I work on platform reliability, automation, and cloud-native services. Recent work: redesigned the purge logic in a data retention service to safely clear 40M+ stale records without downtime, and built a standardized automation execution framework now powering ~25 cron jobs org-wide. Before IBM, I led data pipeline and content-classification work at Khoros, and built core APIs and onboarding systems at Boeing. Day-to-day, I use IBM Bob (an AI coding agent) to accelerate development — recently compressing a 2-week refactor into 3 days. I care about clean code, systems that don't page you at 2am, and mentoring engineers earlier in their journey than I was.
