Did you know? Aerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly. But the bumblebee doesn’t know that, so it flies anyway. I live my life a bit like that bumblebee. Coming from a humble small town background, my early years were anything but easy. I didn’t pass 9th grade the first time, and academic success felt out of reach. But that setback didn’t define me it fueled me. I worked through different trades, gathered life lessons, and eventually completed 10th grade with renewed grit and purpose. From there, my journey took me places I never imagined literally and metaphorically. I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing organizations like Landesa, International Justice Mission, Soch, Bosch, Change.org, Power for All, and Climate Catalyst. Each experience transformed me and deepened my commitment to creating impact. For someone who once lived without running water or electricity, I’ve now traveled across the US, UK, Spain, Finland, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. I share this not to boast, but to say: your past doesn’t dictate your future. What drives me most is helping others find joy, purpose, and direction.
