About me

Palak is a Sustainable Development Program Officer at Verra where she works on the evolution and projects under SD VISta & CCB standards in line with Agenda 2030. She co-founded the ‘Green Governance Initiative’ in 2019 to influence policy to reflect the development goals and make sure the SDGs are implemented at a grassroots level. Her focus is on showing young people they have the potential to change the world. Palak is a Princess Diana Awardee for her work in sustainability through leading the flagship program GGI Young Leaders since 2020. She trained thousands of young people on how to act on SDGs in their communities. Palak also worked to improve sanitation and period poverty in India through her work with the Centre for Advanced Studies in Policy Research. She studied for her first Master's degree in International Social & Public Policy from the London School of Economics. She also
