Hi, Im Omkar Sheth, a final year undergrad student majoring in Commerce, I have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through my internships, As a Research Analyst Intern at Bynaric Systems Private Limited, I conducted research on various financial topics for a children's book publication. I analyzed and presented data on personal finance strategies and trends to inform book content, synthesized findings from multiple sources, including studies from Stanford University, to provide comprehensive information for readers, and contributed to the creation of a bestselling financial literacy book for children. Through this internship, I developed strong research and data analysis skills, as well as the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner. As an intern in the Partnership and Events department at iSchoolConnect Technologies Pvt Ltd, I secured partnerships and event opportunities through outreach to universities and influencers, resulting in collaborations with 13 universities and 3 influencers. I developed and executed effective cold-emailing strategies to generate leads and convert them into partnerships, and utilized strong communication and relationship-building skills to foster mutually beneficial collaborations and drive event success. As a video editor intern for one of the professors of IIM Bangalore, I had the opportunity to edit videos for YouTube and for course materials. This internship helped me to improve my editing skills and also to understand the importance of visual aids in the education process. I have also been selected as a delegate for HPAIR by Harvard University twice, once in New Delhi in August 2022 and again in February 2023 at the Harvard University Campus in Boston, USA. During these conferences, I worked on case studies to provide solutions to real-world problems such as reducing pollution and providing warmth for migrant workers in Delhi during winter. I attended guest speaker sessions featuring industry leaders such as CEOs from Silicon Valley companies, Board members of Harvard University, CTO of World Bank, and CFO of Ernst and Young. This experience demonstrated my strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills I have also volunteered at an NGO dedicated to supporting underprivileged children, teaching social skills and facilitating discussions on important topics such as bullying. I acted as a mentor for children, providing guidance and counseling for any personal issues they faced and was also looking under the operations of the NGO as a core team member.
