Testimonials
He was very insightful and gave some achievable advice!
I found Ola's support incredibly helpful and worthwhile. He was patient, approachable, and very supportive throughout the session, which made the whole process feel much less overwhelming. He gave clear, practical guidance on how to approach the job application criterias and showed me how to structure strong, relevant responses for my supporting statement. What stood out most was how he helped me draw on the full range of my experience, which made my application much stronger and more tailored to the role. His advice on using prompts effectively and aligning my examples made the whole process much clearer and significantly improved the quality of my application.
Thank you, for sharing your experience, skills, and knowledge in this playbook. Invaluable

About me
I am a Data Scientist, Public Health Practitioner, and Researcher with experience working across hospitals, local government, research environments, and non-governmental organisations. Over the years, I have built a career at the intersection of data, health, and impact, using data not just to generate insights, but to support better decisions, stronger systems, and improved population outcomes.
My work has involved managing, cleaning, harmonising, linking, analysing, and reporting complex routine datasets, including patient-level clinical data, public health data, education data, and wider government data. I have extensive experience turning fragmented and raw information into high-quality, reliable, and actionable evidence that can inform service improvement, policy development, research, and strategic decision-making. Through this, I have contributed to work that addresses both health outcomes and the wider determinants of health.
As someone who successfully navigated the UK public health and data landscape after arriving as an international student, I also understand the importance of guidance, positioning, and access. That personal journey has shaped a strong passion for mentoring and supporting others who want to build careers in public health, data analysis, research, and related fields.
I enjoy helping people gain clarity in their career direction, strengthen their technical and analytical skills, and position themselves confidently for new opportunities. Whether through mentorship, practical guidance, or sharing insights from my own journey, I find great fulfilment in empowering others to grow, transition successfully, and achieve meaningful progress in their careers.
I am particularly passionate about using data for public good, advancing evidence-driven practice, and supporting the next set of analysts, researchers, and public health professionals.
