Oishika has an ardent passion for Economics, Finance and Data Analytics. She is an incoming student at University of California, Los Angeles for the term fall 2023. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics (with distinction) and a minor in Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, India. During her second year of school, she co-authored a research paper, "Covid-19 from Game Theory's Perspective: Lockdown and Vaccination Roll Outs" which was published in International Journal of Policy Sciences and Law. Post her under-graduation, she worked in Genpact, a global professional services firm. Driven by a zealous thirst for knowledge, Oishika seeks research opportunities on faculty-initiated projects that will not only expand her intellectual spectrum but also enable her to hone her problem-solving skills. With the ultimate goal of benefiting the society, she stands ready to embrace new challenges that will propel her towards greater heights. She finds herself irresistibly drawn to the captivating world of self-improvement. Her leisure hours are mostly consumed in swirling a paint brush on paper to capture the beauties of nature or losing herself in the pages of a well-crafted book on personal development.
