What is your "WHY?"
I am an entrepreneur and a speaker. I have a passion for leadership development, especially when speaking about young adults and students. I believe they are the next generation of leaders and there is nothing I enjoy doing more, than investing into the next generation to help create the next leaders of our world.
Whether it's playing a role in building a business development department from the ground up and creating $100,000 worth of opportunities in the first quarter, or scaling my own business, personal development and developing other leaders is a common factor in both. There is nothing more rewarding than helping others unlock the potential inside of them so that they can maximize their purpose in this world.
In 2019, a friend of mine gave me the book "Cashflow Quadrants" which opened my eyes to the concept of living a life where assets created my income verses me having to create income. I began to realize that wealth was not about how much money you had accumulated, but more about how much time you had accumulated. That is what inspired me to become an entrepreneur. I had always loved coming up with ideas & solutions, but never knew how to act on them. After networking with the right people and earning their mentorship I found a way to design a life that I wanted instead of being given one by management.
It is not about loving what you do, but more about loving the life that what you do gives you. That is what attracted me to my mentors. They were truly successful in my eyes and my measure of success was not just based on how much money you make, but rather on how many people are better off because you lived.
At the end of the day, our every life comes down to three questions:
1. How do we want to live our daily life?
2. Is what we are currently spending our time doing working towards the ultimate goals we have?
3. Are we ok with the direction we are headed, or do we need to course correct?
