Nupur Kulkarni is currently pursuing her Masters in Computer Science at Saarland University, Germany. She is currently working as a Research Assistant in Sprint ML lab at CISPA Helmholtz Centre for Information Security in the field of Trustworthy Machine Learning. She has also worked with a startup called Delfa Systems on Django and REST. She has worked as an Intern followed by Associate Quality Assurance Analyst at PTC from 2021-23 . She has primarily worked on Automation and Manual Testing of IOT Products. She pursued her Bachelor's in IT Engineering from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune. Being awarded with the Best Outgoing Student of PCCoE for the 2022 Batch, she is also the recipient of the prestigious Shri Pralhad P. Chhabria Best Outgoing Student Runner Up for the year 2022. She has a disposition towards research and has authored several research papers and book chapters published by IEEE and Springer among others. During her Engineering, she along with her team won the Smart India Hackathon 2020, where they worked on developing a Captcha Based Authentication System for Visually Impaired people. Nupur is an active IEEE volunteer since 2019 and has worked at Student Branch, Pune Section, India Council and International levels in multiple teams and committees since then. She served as the Section Student Representative for IEEE Pune Section in 2021, a Core Committee member for All India Students Young Professionals Women In Engineering Life Members Congress (AISYWLC) 2022. She has chaired the Marketing Publicity and Communication sub committee of IEEE PES Humanitarian Activities Committee and currently serves as an Office Bearer in IEEE Pune Section Young Professionals. Nupur is a B1 Certified in German and continues to learn and enjoy the language. She is inclined towards social work and has served as a City Manager for Make A Difference NGO. She has also volunteered for other NGOs like Idhant. She is an active participant in Tree Plantation Drives. Along with her professional pursuits, Nupur likes to sing. She performs in musical groups in Pune and also owns a you tube channel called Melodious Nupur. She is also an avid reader and a passionate writer who likes writing on technical and non technical stuff.
