Are you intrigued by the world of design but don’t know where to start?

Feeling overwhelmed by the sea of information on YouTube, blogs, and social media — yet still confused about what it actually means to be a designer?

You’re not alone. Every week, I get messages from beginners and career switchers who feel stuck at this exact point.

That’s why I created this session — to give you clear, practical insights and a guided starting point.

In this 1:1 call, we’ll talk about:

  • What does a designer really do — demystifying the role
  • The different fields of design (UX/UI, Product Design, Visual Design, Service Design, Branding, etc.) — and which one may suit you best
  • Skills you need to start — tools, mindset, learning path
  • The day-to-day life of a designer — what to expect
  • How to build a portfolio from scratch, even if you’re just starting
  • How to position yourself if you’re a career switcher
  • The difference between studying design formally vs. self-learning
  • What hiring managers / companies look for in entry-level designers
  • How to avoid common beginner mistakes

This session is for you if:

👉 You’re a student thinking about a design career

👉 You’re from a non-design background but curious about switching

👉 You’re exploring UX/UI, Product Design but feeling lost

Who am I?

I’m Nomeshwari — a Service & Product Designer at Samsung R&D. I’ve worked with both startups and global companies, built MVPs, and explored multiple dimensions of design — from UX/UI to Service Design to Visual Communication and Information Design.

I understand the challenges of breaking into design — because I’ve done it myself. And now, I help others navigate this journey with clarity and confidence.
