As a third-year computer science engineering student at PES University in Bangalore, I have developed a keen interest in Machine Learning. I am always eager to expand my knowledge by implementing new concepts from scratch and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. During my time as a research intern at IIIT-B under the guidance of Prof. Uttam Kumar, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project. I used deep learning techniques to eliminate noise and generate land use and land cover (LULC) maps from multispectral images of Bangalore captured at different points in time. I then used these maps to simulate cellular automata in Q-GIS. The experience was challenging but highly rewarding, and it gave me a chance to put my skills to the test and see tangible results. I am excited to continue my journey in the field of Machine Learning and explore new opportunities to grow and learn.
