Nitin Ramakoti, CFA is currently delivery manager at Acuity Knowledge Partners (formerly Moody's Analytics). He is responsible for a large regional U.S. investment bank's equity research coverage on leisure and performance brands sector. Prior to his role at Acuity, Nitin was a senior research analyst at JMN Investments Research, where he headed the event-driven equity research desk. Nitin joined JMN in 2013 as an analyst in the firm’s North America event-driven research desk. He offered bespoke insights on a range of beta-neutral opportunities in corporate divestments and merger arbitrage. Nitin earned his bachelor’s degree with a specialization in finance and business administration from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst™ designation and is an active member of the Chennai chapter of the Indian Association of Investment Professionals. Nitin is currently pursuing the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He is a trained western classical violinist and is an avid high-altitude mountaineer.
