With 20 years of experience launching channels for top brands like Discovery, TLC, Star News, UTV, Sony and BBC, I’ve built a successful career in content strategy, acquisition, and market adaptation. However, my most significant journey has been navigating leadership as a woman in male-dominated environments. I have often been the only woman in management committee meetings and in senior leadership teams. In these spaces, I had to find my voice and figure out how to get my ideas across and implemented. Through observation and creating my own solutions, Ilearnt how to build strong teams and lead effectively. Throughout my journey, I have discovered that women bring unique strengths like empathy, sensitivity, and authenticity - qualities that are sometimes undervalued but essential for effective leadership. By embracing these strengths, we can lead with confidence and make a lasting impact. This understanding fuels my passion for helping women leaders navigate the complexities of leadership through my courses. I aim to empower women to harness their authentic strengths, build high-performing teams and manage challenges with empathy and authority. We don’t need to compromise who we are to succeed, instead, we can redefine leadership on our own terms and thrive in any environment.
