Hi, this is Nissy Prudhvi Raj, Passionate Entrepreneur, Digital Marketing Practitioner, and a Mechanical Engineer with a never-ending passion for solving problems and building businesses. It all started when I started a photocopy business in my 9th Std, where I supply photocopy notes and textbooks to schools and coaching centres. It never ended there, In my 11th std, those were the times people were scared to buy things online. so I solved the fear of online shopping by becoming a mediator and earned by getting commissions for every order! Entered college, heard about Entrepreneurship for the first time. Got attracted to it and decided to make it a career. Started learning about business, startups, and innovations. One fine day, I was eating in the college canteen. The food tasted terrible, but no other way. We are not allowed to leave the college campus to buy food. This bad experience gave birth to oiee.in (an online food delivery platform). Got a great response in a few days but had to shut down as collage don’t want to lose money on its canteen. Then my friend and I came up with an IoT product and got selected in the top 30 innovations by IIM Bangalore in Texas Innovation Challenge 2017, and got a total of Rs 5 lakh in funding. I've learned a lot about business. That's where the student to entrepreneur transformation happens. Then I started looking for problems in the education sector. As a part of it, Went to many schools and spoke to many students and parents. I was inspired by the way LMES (Let's make education simple) is revolutionizing the education system, so I joined their team. Then I left lmes to persue my freelance career in digital marketing. I started freelancing for Indian & International clients in Performance Marketing, chatbot marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing. Once an Entrepreneur is always an entrepreneur, So Doing my side hustle to create an opportunity to dive into entrepreneurship again! That’s when Optimex is born!
