I'm a Data Scientist with a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech, 2024) from IIT Kharagpur, currently working at Blinkit. My day-to-day involves optimizing vision models for CCTV monitoring services and creating scalable backend systems for MLOps. My journey into data science wasn't entirely traditional. I started out building a strong foundation in backend software engineering (Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes) at Capillary Technologies before making a deliberate transition into the AI and data science space. I've since worked as a Data Scientist at Turno, served as a Tech Lead for a startup, and developed predictive models and LLM-based automation during my time at Simpl. Because I've crossed the bridge from software engineering to data science, I deeply understand the intersection of scalable backend systems and machine learning technologies. I work extensively with Python and SQL, and I know exactly what it takes to pivot into this field.
