PRESENT Fractional CMO / Strategic Marketing Consultant PAST Nischala talks about her work experiences in terms of decades. The first decade [Career 1.0] The penchant for ‘new and diverse experiences’ fueled Nischala's initial career years taking her across the world (US, Europe, India) for interesting and exciting technology work in strategy consulting, technology solution development, program management and business development. She has worked with clients like MasterCard, Credit Suisse, HSBC, Charles Schwab in building next generation technology solutions. This early exposure to diverse cultures and world views, global companies, work environments and ways of working have shaped her thinking and career. The second decade [Career 2.0] In this phase, Nischala took the opportunity to blend her technology understanding with her passion for marketing and was involved in strategic programs around corporate intrapraneurship, business innovation, corporate culture transformation. These enriching experiences gave Nischala a holistic understanding of business and the IT services industry. They also influenced her personal leadership style – in terms of leadership behaviors she emulates and those that she would never do as a leader. The third and current decade [Career 3.0] This is when Nischala leveraged her professional experiences, expertise, personal strengths, purpose and passion to take on C-suite / leadership roles. She has successfully played the role of CMO since 2021 which has been her career dream. In her last role, Nischala was the Chief Marketing Officer at Fresh Gravity, a global data and analytics consulting firm. Prior to that, she was the CMO / Chief Storyteller and Executive Management member at HFS Research, a global research and strategic advisory firm FUTURE There are 3 states of existence - Consumer. Critic. Creator. The most powerful is when you can be part of creation - of solutions, jobs, processes, confidence, smiles, dreams, hopes, life.
