I’m a technical textile professional with over a decade of experience in advanced material development, filtration, and process optimization. My journey began at IIT Delhi, where I completed my M.Tech in Textile Engineering, working on the development of bulletproof jackets for DRDO — a project that deeply shaped my understanding of high-performance technical materials. Following that, I spent five years at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies India in R&D and application engineering, developing innovative filtration products across automotive, power generation, pharma, and food & beverage industries. My role gave me extensive exposure to nonwoven materials, filter media design, and global testing standards. Later, at Saint-Gobain Abrasives, I played a key role in stabilizing a new nonwoven abrasive manufacturing plant, focusing on process development, efficiency improvement, and cost optimization. Currently, I’m channeling this experience into my own startup, where I’m developing sustainable medical textiles using biopolymers such as chitosan and alginate.
