Nikin discovered he had a talent for electronics and started working at a lab affiliated with the Border Security Force in India at 9 y/o. He successfully piloted projects on agricultural management, anti-train collision, and smart homes and received an honorable citation from the President of India. Nikin got a full scholarship to attend Northeastern at 16 y/o. After graduating, he helped commercialize novel radiation detectors at Guardion and is an alumna of the Techstars-US Air Force accelerator. At MIT HackingMedicine, his team won two prizes and he co-founded Medsix, a medtech startup focused on post-operative recovery management. He's currently building a VC-backed mental health startup. Nikin is a recipient of the O1 visa (July 2020) and EB1A Green Card (July 2022). His journey of getting the Green Card after repeated setbacks is featured in "Unshackled", an Amazon best-seller.
