About me

I am a Software Engineer at Microsoft, driven to experience more and create a positive impact on lives, having completed my BTech from IIT Ropar. I have been in love with Mathematics, Computer Science and logic, in general, and aim to create smart solutions using technology. I take particular interest in Software Development and Machine Learning, having worked on multiple interesting projects to understand them. I believe learning new things is the most important skill for an engineer and thus strive to continually learn new technologies. I worked as a summer intern at Microsoft, in the WDX India Team, where I developed a widget framework and the first widget for the Welcome Screen of Surface Hub. This was a great opportunity where I acquainted myself with production level coding practices and processes involved. I also interned at Infurnia Technologies, a startup driven to create the first cloud native interior design software. There I was responsible for the completion of the first iteration of their Windows App, removing major blockers to production. I am also active in social spheres, trying to spread ideas worth sharing. I was a core organizer of the first TedX event of Darjeeling, TedXChowrasta, which was an awesome learning experience about leadership and management.
