I am a dedicated and ambitious fifth-year law student at National Law University Odisha (NLUO), with a keen interest in corporate laws, M&A, PE/VC, as well as the intersection of law and technology. Over the course of my law school journey, I have interned at multiple tier-1 law firms and have gained experience and knowledge in the field of corporate and commercial laws. At NLUO, I am currently actively involved in building LexTech - Centre for Law, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, which is a research centre aiming to foster innovation and engagement within the legal-tech domain. We focus on 5 main areas - AI, Data Privacy, FinTech, Online Gaming & Betting, and TMT laws. Some of our initiatives include - 1. Monthly Newsletters covering the legal-tech updates in the areas of AI, Data Privacy, Online Gaming & Betting, FinTech and TMT laws. 2."TechTales: From Code to Courtroom" - A one of a kind talk-show with industry experts to discuss grey areas in the legal-tech domain. 3. Credit courses/Academic initiatives to stay updated with recent regulatory and policy changes that have fostered legal-tech. Apart from being a law student, I am also an aspiring legal-tech entrepreneur; keen to explore opportunities in the legal-tech industry, as I believe it to be the future of the legal profession.
