I am a software engineer with over a decade of experience in the computer software industry, currently based in Bangalore, India. My skills span across a range of technologies including Big Data, Hadoop, and Generative AI technologies as well. I'm also proficient in NoSQL databases, namely HBase and MongoDB. For several years, I've been focusing on the design and development of distributed systems and building scalable services using languages such as Java, Scala, and Python. My current objective is to continue to focus on these areas. In addition to my work, I contribute to open source communities, specifically the Apache HBase, Apache Phoenix and Apache Hadoop projects. Before my current role at Visa Inc., I've worked at Informatica LLC, Huawei Technologies India, and even served as a Trainee Teacher at the National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya. Academically, I hold a Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and a Bachelor of Engineering from Assam Engineering College. My passion for computer science has driven me to engage in reading and writing code for over 13 years, and I continue to learn and grow in this field.
