Hello! I’m Nida Shahid, a passionate and dedicated researcher with a PhD in Chemistry from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. My academic journey has been driven by a strong curiosity for science and a commitment to meaningful, high-quality work. My core research expertise lies in organometallic synthesis, nanomaterials, and electrochemical and photochemical techniques, with a special focus on transition metal-NHC complexes and their catalytic and structural applications. Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience with a diverse range of characterization techniques, including NMR, UV-Vis, FTIR, Mass Spectrometry, SCXRD, PXRD, and electrochemical analysis tools. This practical exposure has sharpened my attention to detail, deepened my understanding of reaction mechanisms, and strengthened my expertise in materials characterization. I can confidently teach and train you in using these techniques and their associated software, helping you interpret data accurately and apply these tools effectively in your own research. In addition to my research background, I am an attentive listener, and a meticulous, hardworking individual. I’m someone who values structure, clarity, and creativity qualities that are essential when turning complex research into effective scientific writing or impactful visual presentations.
