About me

Hi, I’m Nehal, a Counselling Psychologist, Research Consultant, and Academic Mentor with a background spanning psychology, qualitative research, and global public health. A little about my background: * 🎓 I hold a Master’s in Applied Psychology and am currently completing my second Master’s in Global Health & Human Development. I’ll also be beginning my PhD journey soon. * 🧠 In my private practice, I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, life transitions, and emotional well-being. * 📚 I mentor psychology students and early-career professionals with career planning, CVs, LinkedIn profiles, SOPs, and navigating opportunities within and beyond psychology. * 🔍 I support students and researchers through dissertation planning, qualitative research, topic refinement, methodology, and academic writing. * 🤝 I also collaborate with organisations, educators, and professionals on projects related to mental health, research, and psychology. One thing that matters deeply to me is helping people feel like they don’t have to figure everything out alone. Whether you’re preparing for your first dissertation, building your own passion projects, making a career transition, or simply looking for a space to process life’s challenges, I’m here to support you with evidence-informed guidance and genuine collaboration. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, writing, exploring cafés or bookstores, or working on projects at the intersection of psychology, public health, and everyday life. I’m also available for workshops, speaking engagements, webinars, collaborations, and academic conversations. Whether you’re here to seek support, learn something new, or build something meaningful together, I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to connecting with you. :)
