My journey into the startup world was shaped by my unique blend of engineering and business experience. With a decade in lead generation and sales management in the medical device industry, I was naturally drawn to entrepreneurship. During the pandemic, a few backpacking trips sparked my passion for the outdoors, inspiring me to build SAAG—an AI-powered peer-to-peer marketplace for outdoor gear rental. Despite not being a computer science expert, I taught myself everything—from assembling the right tech team to finding the right users and ultimately creating a platform that generates revenue by solving a real problem. I take pride in building in the tech world with almost no capital and no prior technical expertise, proving that resourcefulness and determination can go a long way.
