Hello! I'm Natalia Mora, and I'm on a mission to drive innovation at the crossroads of technology, community, and diversity. Here are the 5 elements guiding my mission ⬇️ 🎓 <Education is my Anchor.> As a senior computer science student at the University of Oklahoma and a first-gen Mexican-American woman in tech, my journey began with my independent AI study in high school, "The Mind Behind the Robot." This early experience ignited my passion for tech and instilled in me a lifelong habit of curiosity and a craving for knowledge, which has woven itself throughout all that I do. 💻 <Software Engineering is my Launchpad.> My early career took flight during both of my internships at JPMorgan Chase, where I immersed myself in AWS, Snowflake, Grafana, Terraform, HTML/CSS/JS, Python, SQL, and more. These experiences, combined with the attainment of my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, have played a pivotal role in my journey. 🧠 <Artificial Intelligence is my Calling.> My extensive undergrad AI research, spanning reinforcement learning, natural language processing, computer vision, large language models, neural networks, and data modeling, fuels my fascination with AI/ML's transformative potential. To live in an AI-driven world is to be in relentless pursuit of knowledge, so I love to stay current with the latest research and evolving technologies. 🌱 <Community Impact is my Language.> As a natural extension of my passion for AI/ML, I co-founded the University of Oklahoma's AI/ML club, fostering a vibrant learning community for AI/ML enthusiasts hailing from all backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels. This club is not just a platform for sharing knowledge - it's a continuous learning hub which guides my journey as an aspiring ML engineer. 👩‍💻 <Diversity and Inclusion is my Heartbeat.> As recent co-founder of OU's Girls Who Code College Loop, I amplify women and non-binary voices in tech. My involvement in organizations like Rewriting The Code, SWE, SHPE, Colorstack, Latinas in Tech, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund underscores my dedication to diversity and inclusion. I'm forever grateful for attending DEI-focused conferences led by organizations like SWE, Dow, Salesforce, and TIAA.
