Hello! I am Professor Narinder Kapur, an award-winning London-based Consultant Neuropsychologist, and visiting Professor of Neuropsychology at University College London, U.K, with over 40 years of experience leading neuropsychology centres across the NHS. I founded the first Memory Aids Clinic in the U.K, at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. I was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award from the British Psychological Society, owing to my extensive contributions to the ever-evolving field of neuropsychology in the U.K and in developing countries like India. I have also co-authored 7 books, and over 160 neuropsychology papers/book chapters. Parts of profits from my work go towards supporting Neuropsychology in India, such as the India Covid Rehab Centre which Professor Kapur helped to set up in Bangalore (www.indiacovidrehab.org). Profits also go to supporting healthcare in Afghanistan and other countries by helping to provide continued funds to the two Dr Karen Woo award schemes that I have set up and funded in memory of the UCL-trained doctor, Dr Karen Woo, who was killed by terrorists in 2010 while providing aid in Afghanistan (see HERE), and also to the Nurse Amin Abdullah Fund that I set up with others, in memory of Nurse Amin Abdullah who self-immolated in 2016 after a kangaroo court dismissal process. The Nurse Amin Abdullah award fund is run by the Royal College of Nursing Foundation.
