I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from N.I.T. Rourkela. For the next couple of years, I prepared exclusively for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. After narrowing missing the Prelims cut off the second time around, I entered the 'real' world in September 2021 when I started working at Edukemy, India's first non-STEM ed-tech startup. For the first year, I explored various roles and responsibilities, the primary one among them being that of 'Tech Operations Analyst' and finally zeroed in on what I would like to build my career in - Product Management. I worked as a Product Owner at Edukemy for over 2 years. Following were some of my KRAs: - defining the vision for the product I own - creating the roadmap to realise this vision - managing the product backlog - working with cross-functional teams to deliver the product features - conducting research to understand and also anticipate customer needs - keeping a tab on the product progress I served as the primary liaison between the key stakeholders from the business side and the development team which delivers the final product. I currently work as a Product Manager at QuitSure. It is a leading tobacco cessation platform globally. I am entrusted with handling the B2B and B2C websites end-to end (UI/UX, PRD, QA, Tech requirements, Analytics), User Subscriptions, User Remarketing via notifications and emails, Customer Tech Support and User Interviews. Apart from work, I love travelling, reading, writing poetry, cooking, following the ATP Tour and outdoor workouts. I am a big fan and long time subscriber of Cult.fit and my favourite newspaper is The Hindu. I have been an ardent Potterhead for over 20 years, a die-hard fan of Shahrukh Khan since age 6, have learnt a thing or two about sarcasm from Chandler Bing and I am currently in a committed relationship with Namma Bengaluru.
