I graduated from National University of Singapore with a bachelors degree in economics and mathematics, and a minor in business management. At university, I was awarded three gold medals, including the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal for the best graduate in NUS. I have also been felicitated by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry for the best research thesis in economics. I take great interest in economics and am currently working in NUS as a predoctoral research assistant for cutting-edge economic research projects. My work revolves around identifying relations in large economic datasets and coding mathematical models of the macroeconomy. In the past, I have worked with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, United Overseas Bank and The Asian Banker.
