Naga is a Doctoral Researcher in Computer & Information Sciences (AI & ML track) at DePaul University, where she specializes in cognitive neuroscience, applied neural networks, deep learning, and LLM optimization. Her research focuses on understanding the brain to build better AI, and using AI to gain insights into human cognition, with the goal of developing human-aligned, efficient, and interpretable AI systems. She brings strong industry and consulting experience alongside her academic work. Naga has previously worked as an AI & Ideation Consultant at CVTech Innovations, Data Scientist at Nakamoto, and AI & Ideation Lead at DUTA, where she led teams, built personalization algorithms, and optimized AI/ML Ops pipelines for real-world deployment. She began her career as a Data Scientist & Pre-Sales Consultant at Kloudhunt, developing generative AI solutions using OpenAI and LLaMA. She mentors students and professionals across AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics, helping them gain clarity, confidence, and direction. She has mentored 1,000+ learners globally, guiding them through learning paths, projects, research planning, MS/PhD preparation, career strategy, resumes, interviews, and transitions between academia and industry.
