Hello! 👋🏽
My name is Mustafa, and I’m a postgrad student at the University College London! I have a strong background in computer science, with major areas of focus being frontend development (ReactJS, Node, JavaScript), backend development (Postgres, Prisma), Mobile App Development (Flutter), and teaching CS curriculum (Web Dev + Mobile App Dev) to underrepresented individuals! I’m also experienced in C++, AWS, Python, WebRTC, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
I love to try new things and go outside of my comfort zone when it comes to experimenting with different roles. Currently, I am working as a Software Development intern at NewsCord, where I’m tasked with building an AI-enabled web extension that leverages the preexisting NewsCord Infra to find key contradictions and differences in tone and narrative between the news sources.
On the side, I provide mentorship to college students around the globe—helping them break into tech and acting as a resource whenever they need it!
I am very much people-centered and thrive in a fast-paced environment. I love thinking on my feet and being challenged in my everyday life! — I also love boba 🧋 and capturing content! 📸
