Dr. Muslim Jameel Syed is a distinguished academic and expert witness with extensive experience in Responsible AI, Technology and Law, specializing in GDPR, the EU AI Act, Digital Twin and Emerging Technologies, Building Monitoring Systems, and Intellectual Property. He has provided expert opinions in significant US legal cases, particularly involving patents. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Atlantic Technological University, Galway, and an expert and examiner for evaluating funding proposals. He also provides consultancy on Tech and Law policy-making and compliance for Small and Medium Enterprises and conducts training sessions on Artificial Intelligence for professionals.
