In my present role, I lead and manage client PR outreach initiatives for a niche communications agency. Lead a team of live wire PR professionals, and work on managing a host of clients - medium and large corporations - helping them craft their public relations and communications outreach programs. I am also a niche hiring support specialist, and one of our divisions helps organizations hire talent at middle and senior level. We are good at niche hiring in the marketing and allied functions, and have expertise in understanding most contemporary roles. The customers worked with include names to reckon with in the consumer goods space, educational institutions, an MNC healthcare devices company plus a handful of other clients – both retained and non-retained. In the immediate past role with EMA Partners I was part of a senior leadershop hiring team, working extensively in filling/facilitating to fill senior/niche leadership roles, across industries and sectors. International is ranked amongst the largest executive search firms in the world and serves EMA Partners India operates from offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon and Mumbai. I was based at the Chennai office, and was part of a senior partners office desk. Earlier to that, I have worked with leading multinational staffing & recruitment firms, garnering clients, business, managing delivery leading to successful candidate hires. The PR, communications and journalism landscapes are changing every day. Social Media, mobile and digital channels are reshaping almost every business and individual. My constant endevor is to be in touch with whats relevant! . Working with the country’s leading image management consultancy, I handled the media relations and communication strategies of a handful of organizations – the results ranging from spectacular most times, to utter disasters in a few cases. In the latter, I have come out with more wisdom,not to repeat such counsel to clients.
