Dr. Muhammad Ovais is a multidisciplinary scientist, entrepreneur, and business leader. He earned his Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Technology from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at SIAT-CAS. He later joined BGI Genomics—one of the world’s foremost providers of integrated precision medicine solutions—where he held key roles, including Senior Manager and Director of Business Development. Dr. Ovais is the Founder of Raj Surgiden Co., a premier medical instrument manufacturing and export company based in Sialkot, Pakistan. He also established PengyouX, a contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical research and business development solutions for emerging and established medtech and biotech companies worldwide. Recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University and Elsevier, Dr. Ovais has made significant contributions to the field of nano-biotech. He holds an h-index of 41 and has published widely in leading SCI Q1 journals such as Advanced Materials, Nano Today, Bioactive Materials, Science Bulletin, Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Nanoscale, and Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology.
