I kicked off my career with an undergraduate degree in Economics from NMIMS, Mumbai, and quickly made my way into investment banking at Nomura. There, I worked on deals across the EMEA region, navigating the fast-paced world of corporate finance and learning the ropes of what it takes to thrive under pressure. It was a crash course in how top-tier teams execute at the highest level. After Nomura, I joined Onnivation as a founding member. Onnivation is a cross-border accelerator between Israel and India. My role involved connecting deep-tech companies from Israel to the Indian market, scaling them to a larger customer base. This experience taught me everything from building teams and creating partnerships to understanding the nuances of the Indian startup ecosystem and working directly with founders and C-suite leaders. It was all about turning ideas into impact. Following that, I decided to broaden my horizons and pursue an MBA from HEC Paris, with an exchange semester at Wharton. This period was a game-changer—collaborating with brilliant minds from all corners of the globe and refining my approach to leadership and problem-solving. Today, I’m based in Dubai, working as a Policy Advisor with Whiteshield, where I advise the UAE government on a range of policy issues. My focus is on consulting, government strategy, and innovation, helping shape solutions that have a real-world impact. Along the way, I have made my fair share of mistakes and those mistakes have taught me a lot - whether it’s CVs, networking, cover letters, or pitching.
