Hi, I’m Karthik — a product builder turned filmmaker, startup founder, and AI enthusiast building in public. I’m an alumnus of IIT Guwahati with a background in Human-Computer Interaction, and I’ve spent the last 15+ years at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and startup growth. As a product leader and entrepreneur, I’ve helped scale multiple startups from zero to impact. As the co-founder of Zipy.ai, I built an AI-powered digital experience monitoring platform that helps teams identify and resolve critical user issues — before they’re even reported. Zipy now powers users across 600+ cities, is backed by $2.8M in funding, and was ranked #1 on Product Hunt at launch. I’ve worn many hats — Founder, Product Owner, Growth Hacker, GTM Strategist — and I specialize in transforming user insights into products that scale. My experience spans SaaS, design, analytics, user research, and storytelling — all working together to drive retention, growth, and customer love. I’ve launched products by making Britney Spears sing about bug tracking, and once even brought Steve Jobs back (kind of) as an AI podcast guest — because I believe the best way to learn is to build, play, and ship in public. Outside of tech, I run a film production house called Adwhyta, work in theatre, and am a trained Carnatic vocalist. I’ve shared my journey on the TEDx stage, speaking on the fusion of film, tech, and grit — a philosophy that continues to shape my work. Before diffusion models and deepfakes were mainstream, I made a sci-fi short film — The Countdown — with ₹5000, cardboard sets, string lights, and a DIY VFX toolkit powered purely by imagination. That love for creativity still drives everything I build today.
